ESP: Radio Taiwan International (RTI) is the name of the radio station originally called Central Broadcasting System (CBS) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) founded in 1928. RTI is a government radio station that broadcasts in 14 different languages worldwide via satellite and online, since it discontinued its shortwave broadcasts in 2018.

In 2022 the technical management of RTI has decided to migrate to digital several radio studios at its main headquarters in Taipei and the selected equipment has been AEQ digital consoles as the heart of the new installation. AEQ Forum Split mixers are installed in the main broadcast studios and AEQ Capitol units in the secondary booths.

AEQ Capitol IP Split is a mixing console designed for ON-AIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signalling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication, etc. With its modular design and small size, it adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc.

Simplicity and control potential are combined in the AEQ Capitol IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. The Forum IP Split version comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.

Moreover, AEQ Capitol IP is an 8-channel fixed configuration Digital Audio mixing console. In Capitol IP the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module of 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated in its core. One of the main qualities of AEQ Capitol IP is the wide input capacity available:
4 mic/line, 12 analogue, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels input over optical fibre.

The entire project has been coordinated by AEQ's Sales Manager for Asia, Mr. Antonio Perez in collaboration with the technical services of AEQ's local partner in the country ADE Corporation
and RTI's engineering and operations staff.
