GER: Arvato Systems has been working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a strategic partner for many years. Now, the Arvato Systems Vidispine product portfolio, which is specifically designed to meet the requirements of media companies, has successfully completed AWS' Foundational Technical Review (FTR).

“We are very pleased to further establish our long-standing AWS Partner status with the completion of the FTR”, says Matthias Dirks, Head of Delivery within the Vidispine team at Arvato Systems. “We have worked hard to ensure our services and applications achieve AWS targets.”

The FTR enables AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in their products or solutions, providing specific guidelines to adopt a subset of AWS best practices to reduce risks around security, documentation, reliability, and operational excellence, as defined by the AWS Well-Architected Framework. The FTR is led by an AWS Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) who reviews AWS Partner products and solutions.

The Vidispine portfolio enables companies working with media to focus on their core business by providing easy access to technology. Whether by using turnkey applications and services, other media services through the cloud-based marketplace or open APIs and toolkits

As a long time AWS Partner, Arvato Systems supports the AWS for Media & Entertainment initiative with its Vidispine portfolio. This initiative features new and existing services and solutions from AWS and AWS Partners, built specifically for content creators, rights holders, producers, broadcasters, and distributors. In this context, the Arvato Systems’ Vidispine team has been working with AWS to design a solution for the media industry to best leverage the value of media assets. Vidispine media supply chain solutions allow customers to achieve this while offering flexibility, financial transparency, and control.

Dirks stated: “We are proud that our latest product generation is AWS-reviewed, and we can give our enterprise customers the best possible services on AWS.”

The Vidispine team will be present at this year's International Broadcast Convention (IBC) from September 9 to 12 in Amsterdam. At booth 7.C14, the IT experts is looking forward to presenting their latest product developments and solutions. An appointment for a demo is possible via the landing page.
