TSL’s new and award-winning Audio Monitoring, Power Management, and integrated Control solutions
enable facilities to optimize workflows and transition to IP, cloud, remote and virtual operations
sustainably and cost effectively.

TSL keeps pace with broadcasters’ changing needs by extending its popular range of MPA1-MIX monitoring units
with an ST 2110 and AES67-compliant version.

UK: TSL invites BroadcastAsia 2023 attendees to visit stand 6H1-12 to experience its new line of high-performance TSL Audio, Power Management and Control solutions that enable broadcasters to thrive in traditional and IP environments. Designed with the highest degree of quality and affordability, TSL’s newest solutions improve productivity and sustainability by offering flexible and efficient infrastructure and workflow choices to meet customers’ varying requirements.

“IP and the cloud are here and we know that broadcasters are looking at ways they can transition without breaking their workflows or the bank, while maintaining the reliability and capabilities they need and expect,” comments Matthew Quade, CEO, TSL.
“The wide range of TSL solution offerings - from entry-level to advanced - makes us the ideal go-to partner for reliable quality and affordability. We can help design a transition that reduces engineering resource costs and optimizes sustainability, all while de-risking and future-proofing facilities in a way that maximises the lifetime ROI.”

TSL is present across the region via dedicated staff as well as through strategic relationships with systems integrators including Ideal Systems, Techtel, Notable Mahajak Trio, DJS Systems, BES, Strong Bros, Ceda, Golden Duck, BTL, MTC, SK Technology, and Men-Shing Enterprises.

Equal Parts Performance and Affordability
Leveraging industry standards for IP media transport, routing and power management, TSL solutions build bridges between existing hardware and the IP universe, solving the expensive challenge of migrating to SMPTE 2110 IP media transport. Designed to support and integrate with industry-standard broadcast systems, TSL products can reduce power consumption by 50% or more, bolstering sustainability initiatives.

The newest TSL solutions introduce affordable pricing that enables facilities (production studios, OB trucks, fly-packs, and NoCs) of all sizes and budgets to equip operations with TSL’s award-winning, high-performance technology.

Cost-effectively monitor and manage your power usage across facilities, with InSite, TSL’s proprietary software standards-based monitoring, reporting and alarm notification DCIM system that runs in a browser. Its configurable and virtualized infrastructure management system can monitor an entire facility. It is non-vendor-specific to avoid vendor lock-in. When combined with TSL’s new intelligent PDU range it also facilitates a reduction in power usage and costs and supports sustainability goals.

InSite discovers and connects to IP devices and, over SNMP or Modbus, harvests and displays control and alarm status. Alarms and notifications are delivered via email or SMS. A central database logs all required information for future reporting and trend analysis.

MPA1-MIX-NET is a 1U audio confidence monitor and mixer with 16 instantly recallable independent mixes. Designed to ease the transition towards IP media transport, the unit is ideal for ST 2110 trucks and installations. A 1G AoIP connection provides 64 channels of input, with a further 64 available via an optional MADI SFP. Support for in-band NMOS is built-in for integration with TSL control and third-party systems.

With X-Connect IP routing control system, broadcasters can embrace the latest technology with a virtual router built on TSL’s proven processing platform and supported by the widest range of industry-standard protocols. Perfect for incremental upgrades, X-Connect uses vendor-agnostic NMOS, making it compatible across a wide range of existing devices - controllable by TSL's own Virtual Panels, for a totally-customizable installation. Configure individual devices or entire control rooms dynamically - and responsively - thanks to TSL’s Anything-to-Anything philosophy.
