USA: OWNZONES™ Entertainment Technologies, the leading cloud-based video supply chain company, has announced the promotion of Bill Admans to the position of Senior Vice President Operations.

Already a key player in the company and a popular media figure known for his wide range of knowledge and expertise, as Senior Vice President Operations, Bill Admans will lead the operations, product development, and marketing teams at the company. He will also work closely with the CEO to continue developing and executing the growth and innovation strategy that is making OWNZONES the premier cloud platform for creative and supply chain workflows.

“Bill has played an important part in helping us achieve our multiple successes so far,” comments Dan Goman, OWNZONES CEO. “I am delighted to confirm his promotion to the new role and look forward to working with him as we seek to show the many advantages that a digital supply chain in the cloud brings to media organizations.”

With an extensive career covering the Americas, Europe, and Asia/Pacific, Bill has led ground-breaking strategies for launching innovative technologies and headed up world-class post-production business operations with prominent global companies including Netflix, Dolby, Avid, and Technicolor.

Of the many achievements of a successful career to date, highlights include the strategic development and launch of the Netflix Post Technology Alliance (PTA); the market launch of the professional high dynamic range (HDR) imaging tools used to create Dolby Vision, including contributions to the development of the award-winning Dolby Professional Reference Monitor; and while at Avid he seeded the strategy that saw the company transition to a subscription-based licensing model. In his role as Vice President Post-Production at Technicolor, he drove the development and implementation of Technicolor’s innovative UHD/4K post-production workflows for Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix’s original series.

Before moving over to technology, Bill also had an extensive career on the creative side of the business, both as a producer and editor, and in leading the TV post teams at Matchframe and Fotokem in Burbank. This experience of the customer’s POV informs his role at OWNZONES, and ensures that the technology is always seen as being in the service of the creative process, not the other way round.

Outside of industry roles, as a community leader, Bill also co-founded Minds Matter Los Angeles, a nonprofit college access and mentoring program helping low-income students achieve their dream of a college education.
