New order management and integrations in Dina
- 12 September, 2023
NOR: Dina, the world's only digital-first story-centric newsroom system, unveils new developments for the IBC Show. Introducing 'Dina Spaces', order management inside Dina and integrations with leading industry platforms like TRINT and LiveU.
Dina Spaces offers a unified platform for daily and long-term editorial planning. "Newsrooms today are intricate ecosystems, and Spaces is our answer to ensuring efficient daily news planning," states Andreas T. Whiteley, CTO of Dina.
The new Dina order management system empowers reporters, producers, and editors to order needed resources from departments and teams. With built-in tracking capabilities, keeping an eye on task progression, assignees, and statuses becomes easily accessible for all teams.
Whiteley emphasizes: "With Spaces, newsrooms are empowered to thoroughly plan and manage stories and rundowns related to distinct topics. A clear overview of the day's tasks and stories ensures effective monitoring of both long-term content initiatives and the day-to-day news planning."
Another announcement for IBC is that multi-studio support for rundowns has been implemented, empowering producers and directors with access to select their preferred studio for rundown dispatch
Building on its suite of integrations, Dina announces its collaboration with TRINT at IBC. This enables users to seamlessly select text from a TRINT transcript and effortlessly transform it into a news story for Dina.
At IBC, Dina previews a new integrated workflow with LiveU and Mimir. Reporters in the field can now get video recorded from LiveU directly into their stories. The media will be immediately available in both
Dina and Mimir while it is being recorded, ready for editing and publishing.
