Net Insight signs frame agreement with Three Sweden for 5G launch

SWE: Net Insight has signed a frame agreement with Three Sweden ‘Three’ for a broader rollout of Net Insight’s 5G synchronization solution in Three’s mobile network to support its further 5G rollout. The frame agreement is worth about SEK 30 million.

Three Sweden selected Net Insight and placed an initial order of approximately SEK 2 million in Q2, 2022 The delivery of Net Insight’s Nimbra Time Nodes took place in Q3 and the first synchronization products have now gone live in Three Sweden’s network. The two companies have continued to work in close cooperation to plan for a broader rollout of the solution to provide fully GPS/GNSS independent synchronization of Three Sweden’s 5G network. The parties have therefore signed a frame agreement to enable Three Sweden to order products for a full nationwide rollout. Deliveries will begin at the end of 2023 with a larger rollout in the first quarters of 2024.

“After extensive trials and our initial rollout, we are confident that Net insight’s 5G time synchronization is fully compliant with our requirements for a GPS independent network,” says Per Stigenberg, CTO of Three. “It has proved to be the most flexible, reliable, and cost-effective solution for Three’s high 5G standards.”
