USA: MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems is celebrating its 50th anniversary as NAB Show 2026 approaches, marking five decades of innovation, customer-focused engineering and sustained growth across the broadcast and live production industries.

Founded in 1976 by Vincent Jachetta, an Italian immigrant and NBC engineer, MultiDyne's story began with a single breakthrough product developed in the family basement: the TS-1, the broadcast industry's first portable test signal generator. That invention not only launched the company, but also earned MultiDyne
its first Emmy Award and established a guiding philosophy that continues today: identify real-world challenges and engineer precise solutions.

MultiDyne has since evolved from a small family-run operation into a globally recognized provider of fiber-optic transport, signal processing and live production solutions. Along the way, the company has achieved major milestones including two Emmy Awards for technological innovation, strategic business acquisitions, and significant international growth with the 2023 opening of its European office.

"Our story is about more than just longevity - it's about evolution," said Frank Jachetta, CEO of MultiDyne. "From the very beginning, our DNA has been about seeing a problem and solving it. That mindset
has carried us from a basement startup to where we are today, and it continues to guide where
we're going next."

MultiDyne's second Emmy Award, recognizing its SilverBack system, underscored the company's ability
to materially change how television and on-prem video content in venues, worship facilities and more is produced by enabling cinematic cameras within broadcast workflows. Across its portfolio, from fiber transport systems and signal conversion to audio monitoring the company has consistently focused
on addressing critical industry needs.

In recent years, MultiDyne has experienced its strongest period of growth, achieving record performance while expanding its operational infrastructure, engineering resources and product portfolio.
This momentum has been fueled by increasing demand across live production environments
spanning broadcast, digital cinema and professional AV markets.

The company's expansion beyond North America has been a key driver of this success. With a European
office established in Poland and a growing global partner network, MultiDyne has strengthened its ability
to support customers worldwide. Now, the company is setting its sights on Asia-Pacific as its next major
growth region.

"It's no accident that companies do their best in their own backyard," said Jachetta. "As we expand globally, we're creating new backyards. We are building local presence, support and relationships in regions like Europe and Asia to better serve our customers."

Looking ahead, MultiDyne is focused on broadening its role in the evolving media technology ecosystem.
While maintaining its leadership in fiber transport, the company is investing in adjacent areas including
IP-based workflows, video compression, cloud integration and software-driven solutions. This expanding
scope extends its core mission of moving high-quality video wherever it needs to go.

At the same time, MultiDyne continues to expand into adjacent markets such as professional AV and enterprise live production, where demand for reliable, high-performance signal transport and monitoring solutions is accelerating.

"As the industry evolves, so do we," Jachetta added. "We're still solving the same fundamental challenge
by moving video from point A to point B, but we're doing it across more platforms, more markets and
more regions than ever before."

NAB Show 2026 takes place April 19-22 at the LVCC, Las Vegas. MultiDyne exhibits at Booth C4425.
