Mimir by Mjoll on show at NAB 2023
- 13 April, 2023
NOR: Mimir by Mjoll, the next-generation video collaboration platform, has announced exciting new features at NAB Show 2023, with collaboration features and live integrations.
New collaboration features in Mimir include folder sharing and previewing assets before sharing.
A new feature for importing timeline markers from Adobe Premiere Pro will make it easier for editors to collaborate and share notes.
Mimir's improved live production features support for a wide list of live input sources. Mimir now supports the widely used NDI® protocol for recording and has new features for sub-clipping live items.
“The industry is done with heavy on-premise installations and advanced technical implementations of
PAM and MAM systems. Mimir represents the new breed of cloud-native production platforms that focus on efficient workflows, ease of collaboration, and work from anywhere," said Kristian Kim Eikeland,
VP of Sales.
"New Mimir features allow our users to collaborate more efficiently and effectively, streamlining their workflows and improving their productivity," he added.
Other new features include a preview of PDF assets, accessing news agency feeds from Reuters, AP, AFP, and others, and new features for supporting larger clients who need to organize assets by multiple brands, having access to advanced access control, and more.
Mjoll is a software company founded in early 2019 and part of the Fonn Group. The company offers Mimir, the next-generation video collaboration platform. Customers are, amongst others, Al Arabiya News Channel, Danish Radio, IMG Norway and IMG Sweden, TV 2/FYN, Sky News Australia, and Ausbiz.
