Liermann named Sales Director EMEA for RTS & Telex

GER: Bosch division Building Technologies has announced the appointment of Martin Liermann as new Sales Director EMEA. The 44-year-old industry professional officially joined the company on February 1st and leads the sales team for the brands RTS and Telex, covering the regions Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Liermann’s main goals include the fostering of new and expanding existing partnerships and identifying new markets and business opportunities.
“A strong customer focus and partnerships are success factors for extraordinary project solutions. Communicating with our partners at eye level is important to offer them the best support on their quest for intercom and aviation solutions, empowering them to tackle even the most challenging projects,” comments Liermann.
Liermann started his professional career working as an architect, and developed a specialized expertise in combining aesthetics with building technologies in theatres, recording studios and broadcast applications. In 2004 he accepted a position as project manager with Sennheiser Vertrieb und Service GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of Sennheiser, located near Magdeburg, Germany. Over the past 17 years he held various roles within Sennheiser, including project and sales support management, and since 2018 he has served as manager, customer care EMEA. Liermann describes himself as a creative professional who is passionate about challenging the status quo from a technological, but also from an artistic and cultural, perspective.
Liermann is based at the brands’ EMEA headquarters in Straubing, Germany, and reports to Josef Penker, VP Sales EMEA, who has held that position in personal union with his current responsibilities since last July. “I’m very happy having Martin on board to lead our RTS and Telex EMEA sales team,” says Penker. “In addition to his proven track record, I consider him a very integrative person with a strong customer focus and a deep understanding for our business needs, which is indispensable in a fast and constantly changing market to drive sales.”
