IP-Based Audio Solutions for Broadcast, Recording, and Live Performance...

New 7-band EQ module with three dynamic bands for precise sound shaping in live environments.
GER: From November 12-15, 2025, Lawo will present its latest innovations in professional audio production at the 33rd Tonmeistertagung, held at the Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD). As a pioneer in IP-based technologies for audio, video, and control, Lawo will showcase at booth 43 how virtualization, workflow optimization, and seamless integration are redefining production environments across broadcast, theater, opera, and live events.
mc² Console Enhancements: More Control, More Precision
The new software release 12.2.0 brings significant upgrades to Lawo’s mc² series mixing consoles, tailored for high-demand productions. A standout feature is the expanded EQ module, now offering three dynamic bands per channel alongside the existing four fully parametric static bands - delivering enhanced tonal control and precision.
New channel strip displays - with up to three mini-displays per strip - provide improved visual feedback. Combined with decentralized touch control of the processing channel, these updates offer greater operational flexibility, especially in distributed systems and dual-operator workflows. Additionally, decentralized fader user buttons now support direct layer and bank switching via hardware keys,
which can also be configured as additional user buttons.
Theater & Live: Seamless QLab Integration
For theater and live productions, Lawo introduces native integration with QLab. With the release of QLab 5.5, Lawo’s OSC Showcontrol Interface is now fully supported, enabling intuitive control of snapshots and scenes directly from QLab - without the need for manual OSC command input. Combined with generic OSC functionality and ADM-OSC from release 10.12.0, this integration empowers automation of complex show workflows, ideal for theaters and opera houses. These new features will be demonstrated live at the booth using Lawo’s renowned Vivace 3D processing engine.
Live Demonstrations: Experience Lawo in Action
At booth 43, visitors can experience a hands-on live demonstration. Using the mc²56 production console, Lawo will show how even complex production requirements can be handled efficiently and intuitively. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the console’s performance and operational flexibility firsthand. Additional demonstrations will highlight how everyday tasks such as multiviewer integration, preview camera handling, and embedding/de-embedding can be managed seamlessly using
the HOME Apps Platform and .edge.
For the first time, Lawo will also present Sequoia control integration - available directly on the mc²56 or via the mc² crystal Controller. These features underscore Lawo’s commitment to delivering holistic solutions for modern, IP-based production workflows by combining maximum flexibility with intuitive operation.
