USA: The global video streaming market is undergoing rapid expansion. According to market analysis report by Grand View Research, it was valued at $89.03 billion in 2022, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 21.5% from 2023 to 2030. Over this period, APAC is projected to demonstrate significant growth at the highest CAGR of any region. At BroadcastAsia 2023, Interra Systems will showcase major updates to its award-winning content QC, monitoring, and analysis solutions, which are helping APAC OTT service providers and broadcasters deliver high-quality video and streamline their content QC and monitoring processes across the entire digital media supply chain.

"As the video streaming market continues to expand in APAC, our goal is to help media companies in the region meet the ever-growing demand for superior video quality, while streamlining workflows through the automation of media processing and verification across the entire digital media supply chain," said
Bibhas Kumar Samanta, Sales Head, India and MENA, at Interra Systems. "At BroadcastAsia 2023,
we'll demonstrate to our expanding APAC customer base that we're continuously setting new standards in media QC, captioning, monitoring, and analysis to achieve that goal. To that end, we are excited to be unveiling significant enhancements to our ORION, BATON, BATON Captions, and VEGA Media Analyzer solutions at the show."

Interra Systems will be showcasing its portfolio of software-based solutions for media QC,
monitoring, and analysis at BroadcastAsia 2023, including:

Enhancing QoS/QoE: ORION Content Monitoring for OTT and Linear/IP Video
Interra Systems offers two robust monitoring solutions, ORION and ORION-OTT, designed to cater to a wide range of cloud deployment scenarios, including linear broadcast, IP-based delivery infrastructures, and live/VOD OTT content. Recent advancements to ORION include improved localization support, expanded HDR and SMPTE ST 2110 checks, enhanced scheduled reports, improved usability in live monitoring views, and recently introduced scheduled monitoring for automated, time-based monitoring of feeds. ORION-OTT has been bolstered with enhanced support for localization, monitoring of Dolby Atmos audio and low-latency streams, an expanded array of DASH compliance checks, improved freeze detection, and additional system alerts for seamless integration with third-party systems.

Future-Proofing End-to-End Monitoring in IP Environments: ORION 2110 Probe
The demand for seamless interoperability, cost-effective IT infrastructure, and increased flexibility in video transmission - particularly for 4K/8K HDR content - is compelling broadcasters to migrate from traditional SDI infrastructures to IP-based video networks. IP networks provide superior agility, stability, and flexibility for constructing next-generation video production and distribution facilities. Interra Systems' ORION 2110 Probe, designed to support the SMPTE ST 2110 standard, empowers broadcasters to future-proof their end-to-end video quality monitoring in IP environments. This robust solution offers comprehensive QoS/QoE monitoring of SMPTE ST 2110 essence streams, including main and redundancy signals, along with seamless integration with NMOS. With its capabilities, the ORION 2110 Probe effectively addresses the intricate complexities and challenges associated with SDIoIP.

Interra Systems' ORION Central Manager provides unprecedented visibility and proactive monitoring.

End-to-End Visibility of Video: OCM (ORION Central Manager)
Interra Systems' OCM solution empowers broadcasters and service providers with comprehensive enterprise-wide visibility. It enables centralized management of multiple ORION linear and ORION-OTT setups, whether they are in the same geographical area or various locations. By offering a consolidated, single-screen view of both linear and OTT workflows, OCM enhances the speed and efficiency of error detection and isolation. OCM offers several new features, including enhanced support for localization, end-to-end ad insertion monitoring, compatibility with RHEL 8.4, and additional options for scheduling database backups to ensure effective disaster recovery measures.
