Blackbird appoints Mo Volans SVP Product Marketing

UK: Blackbird plc (AIM:BIRD; OTCQX:BBRDF), the technology licensor, developer and seller of the market-leading cloud native video editing platform, Blackbird, has announced the appointment of Mo Volans as SVP Product Marketing. Mo joins the Company from VEGAS Creative Software where he was SVP Marketing.
Mo has worked with leading brands in pro audio, video and tech for over 20 years. Starting his journey as a music producer and content creator he found his calling in product marketing and growth strategy. Mo went on to lead global marketing teams, run a successful agency and create award winning products and growth for some of the most innovative names in the media industry.
An entrepreneurial approach ultimately led to the creation and exit of his own hardware startup. This experience gave Mo a deep understanding of consumer psychology and the skills needed to produce optimal user experience. Mo has held senior positions with Brainworx / Plugin Alliance and been a strategy advisor at Abbey Road Studios. Most recently, as SVP Marketing at MAGIX / Vegas Creative Software, he shaped strategy for their entire pro audio and video portfolio.
After overseeing the launch of many successful products, Mo will use his experience to create and amplify a new engaging range of Blackbird products.
