Broadcast technical specialist joins as key account manager for Europe and Africa...
NOR: Bitfocus, the specialist in media control and monitoring, has boosted its sales resources still further by welcoming Tarald Moe Bjølseth. He will lead the company’s relationships with enterprise customers as key account manager for Europe and Africa.
Bjølseth started his media career as a Steadicam assistant, which led him into the world of live production. He spent more than six years with outside broadcast specialist NEP before joining Norwegian national broadcaster NRK. In both roles he led technical operations on major live broadcasts, as well as being involved in innovative projects: at NRK he was part of the team which developed a virtual control room, based on the Apple Vision Pro environment.
“I’ve known Ole-Andreas for more than ten years and worked with him on projects in the past,” said
Bjølseth. “With the release of the enterprise edition of Buttons, there’s a real need for deeper enterprise
expertise, and I’m pleased to bring my experience to support that expansion. I’m looking forward
to the challenge.”
Ole-Andreas Løvland, CEO of Bitfocus added: “Tarald’s career has been around production innovation, about managing change in workflows and delivering real efficiencies. That is exactly what we are seeking to achieve with Buttons. Tarald will be showing potential users just what can be achieved through our intuitive, user-friendly software that simplifies control, boosts interconnectivity and builds in reliability, leading to fewer people being able to create much more.”
Bitfocus Buttons is a software platform that allows users to develop simple, elegant and logical user interfaces for large multi-vendor infrastructures. Bjølseth steps into his new role as Bitfocus continues to build momentum, recently recognised with
the IABM Pro AV Changemaker Award. The company has also introduced version 1.2 of Buttons,
which includes a free tier that allows users to explore its capabilities in real-world applications.
