SSL To Present New SiX Console

GBR: Solid State Logic will present its latest audio console offerings at InfoComm 2019, booth 6981.
Used on international tours, festivals, and in installations and houses of worship around the world, SSL’s Live consoles have gained a reputation for superior sonic performance, ease of workflow and reliability.
From the compact L100 to the latest L550 flagship console, the mixers are based on the low latency SSL Tempest Audio Engine with an extensive range of I/O options, including SSL SuperAnalogue stageboxes (over MADI or Dante), local analogue and digital I/O, and Blacklight.
Also on show at InfoComm will be the compact Tempest Control Rack (TCR) production solution, part of the System T broadcast platform. Offering a broadcast audio mixer, but without the console surface, this system is ideal for production automation controlled studios or ‘flypack’ systems for small or remote production projects.
In addition, SSL will present the latest music production products; Fusion and SiX. Fusion is an all-analogue 2U stereo outboard processor used in studio and live production, providing five completely new analogue colouration tools. Fusion is designed to bring a combination of added tonal character, weight and space to a user’s mix bus or stereo stems, with the detail, warmth and finesse that only real analogue circuits can provide.
Having been launched earlier this year, the SiX compact analogue console is ideal for use in small studios, post-production, on stage, and for podcasting. Offering big console sound and an impressive set of utility features at an unprecedented price point, SiX is the ultimate console for the desktop or in a backpack.
“Across the SSL range we have solutions that are used daily in churches, live music venues, conference centres, through to schools and colleges,” said Nigel Beaumont, Managing Director, SSL. “InfoComm is the ideal show for clients to get hands on with our products and understand for themselves the versatility and compatibility of our console solutions.”
