SET EXPO 2020 Rescheduled


BRA: SET EXPO 2020 in Sao Paulo, Brazil has been rescheduled until later in the year.

With the mission of promoting the most important media and entertainment technology and business event in Latin America and providing its audience with a great business, networking and learning environment, SET informs that SET EXPO 2020 has been postponed until December 7 to 10, 2020, at the Blue Pavilion, at Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo.

"Because of the rapid expansion of the new coronavirus pandemic and following the recommendations of the health authorities of our country, we decided not to wait any longer," said SET President Carlos Fini. "We consulted the exhibitors and our Counselling Board and the general opinion is that the postponement of the event is necessary.
"We aim to guarantee a safe business environment for our visitors, exhibitors, speakers, congressmen, suppliers, and employees that make SET EXPO one of the most important industry events in the world," he said.

All activities that precede SET EXPO 2020 continue without changes. Call for Papers (for Congressional academic panels) and Call for Speakers are open and interested parties can submit articles or lectures at any time. The Trade Show floor plan is published on the website and is constantly updated. For the full list of exhibitors already confirmed.

The committee that prepares the Congress grid is meeting periodically and, soon, the list of panels will be published on the event website.

In addition to these actions, SET is also preparing new activities, such as workshops, seminars, and lectures that will take place in Congress and the exhibition pavilion.

"We want to hold a relevant meeting at the end of the year and make it festive, with a lot of information and great for business," added Fini.
